When the hot summer caresses your skin, the mind brings us spontaneously in the winter. The frost and the freshness of the season Nordic bloom in our thoughts, painting the picture of a walk in a breeze New York , with an ingenious and never boring look.

Never without a leather item: declined on every garment, played through various shades, it is the material par excellence of sensuality. Skirts, jackets, coats are modeled and make warm the silhouette.
Giorgio Armani creates a jacket made of green leather leaves. Valentino makes magnificent triangle-shaped pattern based on transparency and different materials, Gucci proposes long red and brown leather skirts, Edun  makes geometrical and basic long waistcoat. The German designer Marina Hörmanseder  makes beautiful leather pockets and accessories to embellish her garments.

Fur is still a strong trend. Vibrant fur for Versace that lights up in yellow, neutral for Akris, fun for Moschino. Oversize and eco-friendly for Au Jour Le Jour.

Coat is essential to complete an outfit. For Nina Ricci, the coat must be huge, gigantic, by masculine traits and the rigid lines or covered by fringes.
Delpozo makes it precious with paper-folding details. Edun creates coats with a mix of patterns.

 

Golden coats for N°21 and Alice+Olivia, Marco De Vincenzo creates diamond and lozenge-shaped thread embroideries on wool coats, Lucio Vanotti makes blanket overcoats in neutral tones. Jacquemus makes  beautiful childish silhouettes. Bon ton lines and delicate patterns for Vika Gazinskaya, while Arthur Arbesser  plays with sailor details for his basic coat.

Mini, long, multic-colored, in leather: winter wants to bare legs and designers invites to wear skirts.

Chanel brought its whole collection in a skirt. Small, tight skirts  in chiffon for Saint Laurent‘s rebel girl, felt or maxi fringes for Christian Dior. Alessandro Michele, Gucci new creative director, makes skirt with a vintage taste, as if you found it in a street market. Marco De Vincenzo creates bicolor twists and asymmetric shapes.
Velvet and asymmetry for Italian designer Sylvio Giardina, who choose brown and mustard tones. Marina Hörmanseder creates sculptural and unique leather skirts.

Flat, high heels, with fur. Elegant, provocative, suitable for every situation. Karen Walker opted exclusively on the boots. No sneakers, no heels. Boots in every corner of the city.

Micro buckles on Bottega Veneta boots. Patchwork of different materials for Jil Sander, cuissard boots in black and white for Emilio Pucci, while Au Jour le Jour makes boots with metal effects or red and light blue python leather. MSGM  texan boots with bright colors, such as electric orange or leather patchwork.
Two-colored ankle-boots with gold buckles for Trenta7 by Eleonora Moccia. Farewell Footwear mixes the ’90s gothic style with geometrical cut for the murble sole. Coliac  makes its ankle boots precious with pearls and fur.

Also the winter has flourished, fallen petals from the trees are combined on prints of trousers and long dresses, blouses and shirts: all distinct from floral pattern and delicate colors. The next winter want to switch on and become unique, coloured and flowered.

Red and blue flowers for Valentino, modern and oriental for Vivetta and urban for Thakoon, delicate for Gucci.
“Floral” is the new adjective not to exclud for next winter season.
