The written word is denim but we can read “desire to change”. This blue canvas is the protagonist of street-style and it becomes an elegant detail for this new SS2015 season.
Kris Van Assche, poet of Dior Homme, is well aware of that. For every seasons, he is able to mix the traditional Christian Dior with the new trends of man clothing. He rewrites the history. So the most classical tailored suit becomes modern and perfectly matched with a workwear icon. Coloured brush strokes on the jacket and french words scribbled all over denims.

Andrea Pompilio‘s work is so “wrong” that it reveals its perfection at first sight. Spoilt young men are the protagonists, they play rebels riveting the traditional wardrobe. Denim dresses show contradictory lengths.

Nobody is able to tell the new british story as Christopher Baily does. The hand painted catwalk looks like a book’s cover. And if Burberry Prorsum, under the purple velvet blazer, show us multi-pockets waistcoats, Prada has anything to hide. Miuccia, the most influent voice, uses the textile to talk about equality. In this way, men and women wear coats, jackets and trousers designed using contrasting white seams.

Fabio Quaranta bets on the total look. His strength is the tailored suit which is designed for people with a strong personality, outside the box. They are not characters but formal gentlemen.
