Jessica Walker from Salford University is one of the young talent spotted during the Graduate Fashion Week 2015 in London.

Pop art, sporty silhouettes, vibrant colors mixed with pastel tones characterized the collection showed by the young talent.

What about your collection, inspiration, materials, silhouettes.
I had a lot of fun creating this collection!
POP, my main inspiration, came from the art movement Pop Art, the Fun and vibrancy; I wanted to create something edgy but also wearable with a sports element.
I took the bright bold colours and mixed these with pastels to soften it up.
What about your experience at GFW and what did you expect?
In a way from having watched the Graduate Fashion Week shows in the past I had an idea of what to expect, however the feelings you experience when you are there waiting to see your collection come down the runway was a mix of lots of nerves, excitement and anticipation. It was a one in a life time very rewarding experience, I had a lot of fun both backstage and watching the show.

Your future plans, and what does it mean fashion for you?
I want further my knowledge of garment construction to help me develop
further with design, whilst working within the fashion industry.
I feel fashion is a very exciting industry to be in right now.
