From Patagonia to Valley of the Kings. After meeting the young Argentinean designer of  Maydi this week we go to the discovery of a brand from the East, Bambah.

Maha Abdul Rasheed, the brand’s creative mind, is a young 28 years old Egyptian designer who has taken the first steps in the fashion world in Dubai Emirate. Better known as the Manhattan of the desert, Dubai is one of the most visited destinations for shopping as well as one of the new fashion capitals. And it’s here that Maha opened a high-end vintage boutique years ago before winning the ” Emirates Woman of the Year“.

The brand philosophy is to create a comfortable style able to put at ease a woman whatever she wears. And it is with this purpose that The Bow was created, the SS2015 season. Maha’s first collection is a real blast from the past, where the magic of the 50’s is visible in the elegance and the femininity given off by a combination of modern dress in diversified shapes and fabrics.

This ready-to-wear collection has a strong vintage inspiration and is characterized by soft skirts, bows and polka dots that blend perfectly with the cut, the classic forms and the luxurious embroideries of the elegant today’s woman. The fabrics are an important aspect of the collection. In a world where the fabric’s pursuit and choice are key aspects that may mark the future of the entire collection, Bambah stands for indulge itself in first person in the creation of its garments’ prints.

The Bow is a versatile collection that has four different lines able to better express our personality: Orchid Daydream, for romantic and feminine women, Duchess Blossom, for vintage lovers, Midnight Noir, for charming and sexy women and Vivid Grace, for those who want to dare.

Why do we like it? The SS2015 season is full of clothes that take us back in time and allow us to feel a bit Grace Kelly and Sophia Loren at least for the time of a day.
